Challenge Up is a day camp for young men who need something to do this summer as well as at-risk young men who are in need of character development and would benefit from a positive mentoring environment that involves discipline and character development through work and recreation activities at Boulder Creek Farms. Our day camp is somewhat military oriented in that the young men will wear uniforms and achieve ranks and accommodations from the staff in an effort for the young men to achieve a tangible goal.
Advancement is based on how the young men handle challenges and deal with situations and other campers on a day-to-day basis.
Activities include physical training, one-on-one mentoring, team building, and ranch work. Ranch work includes fences, animal care, clearing, operation of ranch equipment including tractors, four wheelers, skid steer and more.
Boulder Creek Ministries is contracted with the 33rd Judaical Court which services the counties of Burnet, Blanco, San Saba and Llano.
The day camp operates Monday - Friday from 9am – 4pm. Campers must bring a sack lunch.
Camp Cost $300.00 per week - Thursday - Saturday Uniform $ 25.00 (Shirt, Hat) Campers must wear blue jeans that fit their waist and brown or black hiking boots
